Building the future of flight, together

We’re a global community designing and building open source aircraft. Not because it’s easy, but because we believe the world needs it. If you’ve ever looked at aerospace and thought “this could be so much better”—you’re in the right place.

Who we are

Arrow is scattered across timezones and continents, united by a shared vision: increase physical connectedness to the people and places you love. We’re engineers, designers, dreamers, and builders who believe that VTOL aircraft can fundamentally change how humanity moves through the world. We work in public, design collaboratively, and govern ourselves through a DAO on Ethereum.

We’ve already built Quiver, our multipurpose quadcopter devkit, and we’re pushing forward on larger multirotors and fixed-wing drones. The path to cargo drones and manned aircraft is long, and we’re not naive about the work ahead. But we’re committed, we’re patient, and we’re building something real.

How we work

Everything happens online first. Discord is our living room—where ideas spark, meetings happen, and the community hangs out. GitHub is our workshop, holding every line of code and design file. The DAO forum is where we make the big decisions about governance and where Arrow focuses next. We meet up in person when we can, to build together and remember why we’re doing this.

You don’t need permission to start contributing. Pick up a bounty, pitch an idea for a grant, or just show up and start conversations. We reward merit and we take care of our contributors—whether that's through USDC, Arrow tokens, or the kind of camaraderie that makes hard work feel meaningful.

Why this matters

Aerospace is broken. It’s locked behind defense contracts, NDAs, and a culture of secrecy. Hardly anyone is building aircraft in public for the genuine betterment of humanity. We think that’s wrong, and we’re trying to prove there’s a better way.

A scaled network of automated VTOL aircraft means people can live where they want without sacrificing connection. It means fast, affordable, point-to-point travel without massive infrastructure. It means rethinking what’s possible when the sky is actually open. And just as importantly, we hope Arrow sets an example—that decentralized communities can coordinate globally to build an optimistic future, together.

Join us

The best way to get started is simple: join our Discord. Introduce yourself in #general, lurk in the channels, and get a feel for how we work. When you’re ready, check out our GitHub to see what we’re building, explore the DAO forum to understand our governance, or dive into our task board on Dework. Soon, you’ll find us on social media too.

We have a lot of work to do. The future won’t build itself. But if you’re someone who wants to be part of something ambitious, collaborative, and genuinely important—we’d love to have you.
